Role Overview
You sit between client stakeholders and the SynconAI build team. You facilitate discovery, document current and future state, write user stories with acceptance criteria, maintain traceability, and keep UAT and release readiness grounded in what was actually agreed. You understand enough Salesforce to challenge vague asks; you do not pretend to be the architect.
What You'll Work On
- Discovery workshops and process modelling (current and future state)
- Backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce programs
- Requirements traceability through build and UAT
- Data requirements and migration inputs with architects and developers
- Release readiness, training outlines, and cutover checklists
What You'll Do
- Plan and facilitate discovery workshops with clear agendas and decision logs.
- Document current-state and future-state processes that stakeholders recognize as accurate.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria that are testable, not aspirational slogans.
- Maintain backlog hygiene: priority, dependencies, and ready-for-build definition.
- Trace requirements from workshop output through configuration and code to UAT evidence.
- Capture data requirements, source fields, and transformation notes for migration workstreams.
- Partner with consultants and architects when a request needs solution options, not just a story.
- Coordinate UAT: scripts, participant readiness, defect logging, and retest loops.
- Communicate status and risks to stakeholders without burying bad news.
- Support release readiness: open defects, training gaps, and cutover checklist ownership.
- Protect scope by surfacing change impact early with effort and risk, not silent absorption.
- Hand over a clean requirements pack when programs move into managed services.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years as a business analyst or consultant on Salesforce implementation programs.
- Strong workshop facilitation, process modelling, and written requirements skills.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce objects, automation concepts, and Lightning UX enough to challenge vague asks.
- Experience running or supporting UAT on mid-market programs.
- Clear English communication with US stakeholders; authorized to work remotely in the United States.
Salesforce Expertise
- Discovery facilitation and decision capture
- Process modelling (SIPOC, swimlanes, or equivalent) for CRM journeys
- User story and acceptance criteria quality
- Backlog refinement and requirements traceability
- UAT planning and defect triage discipline
- Data requirement gathering for migrations and integrations
Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Administrator (strongly preferred)
- Salesforce Business Analyst
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery credential (optional)
Nice to Have
- Industry exposure in financial services, healthcare, retail, or commercial services
- Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps backlog tooling on Salesforce programs
- Light Flow or reporting literacy for prototype validation
- Change management or training content experience
How We Work
- Architect-led delivery: solution decisions are reviewed before they become irreversible org debt.
- Ownership from discovery through production, not hand-offs that strand the next person.
- Documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer are part of done, not optional extras.
- You work with multi-shore pods under one architecture standard across USA and Australia hubs.
Location & Working Model
Remote, full-time. Hiring across the United States. You align to the client’s primary US timezone for workshops and UAT windows.
- Working model: Remote
- Employment: Full-time
- Hiring geography: United States
- Expect overlap with US client hours across delivery timezones.
What Success Looks Like
- Stories enter build with acceptance criteria that QA and UAT can execute without reinterpretation.
- Traceability makes it obvious which requirement a defect or change request affects.
- UAT completes against agreed scope instead of expanding mid-cycle through undocumented asks.
- Release readiness checklists are factual: known gaps, owners, and dates.
