Field Service
- Field Service app
It knows a dripping tap from a gas leak.
The Repair Booking Agent answers every repair request on your website, at any hour. It books real Field Service visits for the jobs that can wait, and puts the ones that can't in front of Dispatch straight away.

The problem
A leak that can wait until morning. A price question from someone you can't reach. And a gas smell. At most service businesses they sit together until someone opens the inbox, then get answered in the order they arrived.
Tomorrow at 8 AM, someone reads them in order. The gas smell is third.
See it work
Recorded live on a demonstration company's website and a real Salesforce org. The replies below are the agent's own words from that run, unedited.
My hot water system is leaking, can someone come tomorrow?
Before we go further, is there any gas smell, sparking, burning smell, or water actively flooding right now?
No, none of those. A steady drip under the tank.
What is the full street address where the hot water system is leaking, including suburb and postcode?
18 Macquarie Street, Parramatta NSW 2150
A few messages later, after her name and number
Your job is logged as 00000101. Here are the earliest windows. Choose a day and time in the calendar beside this chat, or tap one below.
I would like option 1: Thu 5 Nov, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Booked for Thu 5 Nov, 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Why it matters. "Booked" is said only after Field Service has scheduled the visit and assigned a technician. The windows on offer came from the real schedule, not from the AI.
The demonstration company is in Sydney, so the agent writes Australian English and the emergency number is 000. Both follow your settings.
What Dispatch sees
Every job the agent logs opens on a work order page built for the person who acts on it. The Dispatch View sits beside the record, so nobody hunts through tabs at 7 AM.

Why it's different
| When this happens | A typical website chatbot | The Repair Booking Agent |
|---|---|---|
| A customer wants a time | Takes a preferred time; someone confirms tomorrow | Offers only windows Field Service can schedule, and books one with a technician |
| Someone smells gas | The message joins the queue | Safety instructions first, then a Critical work order owned by Dispatch |
| "How much will it cost?" | A scripted range, or a guess | Never quotes; offers a visit where a person confirms the rate |
| The address is out of area | Takes it anyway | Says so plainly, books nothing and logs a callback |
| The customer writes again | A second ticket | The same record, with the new message added |
| What lands in Salesforce | A transcript, at best | Contact, work order, scheduled visit and assigned technician |
| Who decides | The bot's script | Salesforce, through actions you've approved |
Capabilities
Each capability links to its moment in the film.
Every conversation checks for gas, sparking, burning smells and active flooding first. A hazard never becomes a normal booking.
Times come from your territories, operating hours and scheduling policy. The customer picks on a calendar beside the chat.
A visit is confirmed only once Field Service has scheduled it with a technician, and the customer gets the exact window.
Addresses are checked against the areas your technicians cover. Outside them, it says so and logs a callback.
A Critical work order owned by your Dispatch queue, with the same number the customer is given.
It finds or creates the contact, and adds a returning customer's message to their open record.
Who it's for
Every inquiry is answered, logged, and either booked or handed to the right person while you're closed.
The night's work is already in Salesforce, with a response clock and a next step on every job.
Real times they can pick on a calendar, and clear safety advice when it matters most.
Agentforce, Field Service scheduling, Apex actions, a least-privilege agent user and a conversation test suite.
Built to be trusted
Make it yours
Work types, service areas, safety questions and wording, hours and your scheduling policy.
The agent, its actions, the website chat and calendar, and the Dispatch View on your work orders.
Your own scenarios, replayed against your records before go-live and before every change.
A runbook, the test set and a walkthrough for Dispatch, so your team owns it from day one.

Security
How the agent is kept to its job, and where its work is recorded.
It runs as its own user with permission sets written for this agent, so it can reach only what the job needs.
The agent cannot edit records freely. Every change goes through one of its 8 actions, each with one job.
It never closes an emergency. A "false alarm" becomes a note for Dispatch to confirm.
Agentforce runs on the Salesforce platform and its Einstein Trust Layer. Confirm which Trust Layer features apply to agents in your org with your Salesforce account team.
What the agent does lands as normal Salesforce records with their full history, so you can see who changed what and when.

What buyers ask us
No. It offers only windows Field Service scheduling returns for your territory, and confirms a booking only after Field Service has scheduled it with a technician.
It stops the booking flow, gives your approved safety instructions word for word, and creates a Critical work order owned by Dispatch. It never books a normal visit for a hazard.
No. It tells the customer a person will confirm the rate and offers to arrange a visit.
It says so plainly, books nothing, and logs a callback job so your team can follow up.
It reuses the existing contact where it can, and adds to an open emergency when the same person reports it again.
Yes. It reads your territories, operating hours, work types and scheduling policy, and writes standard work orders and service appointments.
Only what its approved actions do, as its own user with the minimum permissions. Every change is a normal record with a full history.
It depends on your Field Service setup and your rules. We scope it with you on a call.
