CareersSalesforce & AI Solutions Architect

Architecture

Salesforce & AI Solutions Architect

Architecture · Remote · Global

Role Overview

This is SynconAI’s senior technical design authority role. You set multi-cloud architecture, integration patterns, identity and security posture, and AI solution design (including Agentforce) with grounding, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns. You make trade-offs explicit, protect scalability and limits, and stay accountable for architecture that can run in production, not demo theatre.

What You'll Work On

  • Multi-cloud solution architecture (Sales, Service, Data 360, Experience, industry clouds as scoped)
  • Agentforce and broader Salesforce AI use cases with governance
  • Enterprise integration, identity, and data architecture
  • Non-functional requirements: limits, scale, resilience, observability
  • Technical design authority across multi-shore delivery pods

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end solution architecture and sign off technical designs before build accelerates.
  • Define data architecture, MDM touchpoints, and Data 360 usage where it earns its place.
  • Select integration patterns (APIs, events, ETL/ELT, MuleSoft or equivalents) with failure modes documented.
  • Set identity, SSO, authorization, and secret-handling standards for the program.
  • Architect Agentforce and AI features with grounding sources, guardrails, and human approval paths.
  • Evaluate platform limits, async boundaries, and scalability risks before they become production incidents.
  • Facilitate architecture decision records and communicate trade-offs to client and delivery leadership.
  • Review Apex, Flow, LWC, and integration designs for alignment with the target architecture.
  • Guide security review readiness and technical debt pay-down priorities.
  • Coach senior developers and consultants; raise the bar without bottlenecking delivery.
  • Define non-functional acceptance: performance, monitoring, and operability.
  • Stay engaged through go-live and early life support when architecture assumptions meet reality.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years on Salesforce programs with 3+ years in a solution/technical architect capacity.
  • Multi-cloud architecture experience in consulting for mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Practical AI/Agentforce solution design experience or immediately transferable Einstein/automation architecture depth.
  • Strong grasp of integration, identity, security, and governance on Salesforce.
  • Executive-ready communication: you can defend a design without hiding behind jargon.
  • Authorized to work remotely in the United States or Australia.

Salesforce Expertise

  • Multi-cloud Salesforce reference architectures and org strategy
  • Data architecture, sharing models, and large-data considerations
  • Integration patterns, API strategy, and event-driven designs
  • Identity (SSO, OAuth), secrets, and security review posture
  • Agentforce / AI: grounding, prompt and action design, guardrails, human-in-the-loop
  • Limits, async design, scalability, and production operability
  • Architecture governance: ADRs, review boards, and technical debt control

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (or equivalent module set toward CTA)
  • Relevant Designer credentials (Data, Sharing and Visibility, Identity, Integration)
  • Agentforce or Einstein-related Salesforce credentials where held

Nice to Have

  • CTA track progress or CTA
  • MuleSoft Architect or equivalent integration architecture certification
  • Industry depth in financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing
  • Prior ownership of production AI assistants with measurable containment of hallucination/risk

How We Work

  • Architect-led delivery: solution decisions are reviewed before they become irreversible org debt.
  • Ownership from discovery through production, not hand-offs that strand the next person.
  • Documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer are part of done, not optional extras.
  • You work with multi-shore pods under one architecture standard across USA and Australia hubs.

Location & Working Model

Remote, full-time. Hiring in the United States or Australia. You align to the program’s primary client timezone for architecture workshops and design authority reviews.

  • Working model: Remote
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Hiring geography: United States or Australia
  • Flexible hub alignment; expect overlap with the program’s primary client timezone and architecture reviews.

What Success Looks Like

  • Programs have a written architecture that builders follow and reviewers can audit.
  • AI features ship with guardrails and human approval where risk requires it, not as unbounded chat.
  • Integration and data designs survive first production peak without emergency redesign.
  • Delivery teams escalate early because they trust your decisions are grounded and timely.
