# Job Wrap-up Agent

Type: Field Service AI Agent for Salesforce · Category: Field service and operations · Status: Live demo · Works with your team

**It writes down what really happened.**

The Job Wrap-up Agent turns what your technician says about a job into the job report, the parts used from their van and the customer's email, inside the Salesforce Field Service app. Nothing is saved until they approve it once, and the office sees the job ready to invoice.

## Film

Job Wrap-up Agent demo (3:17): https://synconai.com/assets/agents/job-wrap-up-agent/film.mp4

- 0:00 Three jobs, one Friday afternoon
- 0:22 An Agentforce agent inside the Field Service app
- 0:36 Sarah's hot water: spoken, corrected and approved
- 1:39 Mark's kitchen tap
- 2:04 Kate's hot water, and three jobs ready to invoice
- 2:34 Why you can trust it: approved actions only
- 2:54 The evening is his own

## The problem

The job takes an hour. The paperwork takes the evening.

The work is done by early afternoon. The report, the parts and the email to the customer wait until tonight, typed up from memory. By then the details are fuzzy, the van stock is wrong, and the office can't invoice until it arrives.

## The real run

Recorded live in the Salesforce Field Service app, on a demonstration company and a real Salesforce org. Ben's lines were spoken into the app's own voice input; the text is what the phone wrote down, and the replies are the agent's own words from that run, unedited.

### 1:00 PM · Sarah's hot water, spoken

- **Ben (spoken):** Yeah, Sarah Collins is hot water. The tpr valve is leaking, so I've put a new one in and flush the tank. Man, there's no leaks now.
- **Agent:** Your wrap-up is ready for review, with 1 x TPR relief valve 500 kPa 15 mm (TPR-500). In the Field Service app, approve it from the job's Actions, Review Wrap-up.

In Salesforce: : 00000108 · Sarah Collins · Hot water system leaking · : 1 x TPR relief valve 500 kPa 15 mm · : Nothing yet

Why it matters: Phone dictation is never perfect ("Sarah Collins is hot water"), and it doesn't need to be: the agent found Sarah's job from her name and the valve on Ben's own van. The draft has his three headings, the part and a plain email.

### A correction

- **Ben (spoken):** Actually make that two valves. The first one was faulty out of the box.
- **Agent:** Updated, the draft now has 2 x TPR relief valve 500 kPa 15 mm (TPR-500). In the Field Service app, approve it from the job's Actions, Review Wrap-up.

In Salesforce: : 2 x TPR relief valve 500 kPa 15 mm · : One live draft; the earlier ones withdrawn

Why it matters: Changes in plain words replace the draft, so there is only ever one version to approve.

### Approve once

In Salesforce: : Work performed, findings, recommendations · : TPR relief valves 4 → 2 · : PDF on the job · : Email sent to Sarah · : Not changed by the agent

Why it matters: One tap updates four places, and only after the technician has read exactly what will be saved. On the office's Wrap-ups board, Sarah's job turns ready to invoice.

## What it is

Helps signed-in field technicians turn job notes into a service report, van parts usage, a customer email and follow-up details, all held for technician approval on a review screen before anything is written.

Quality: 355 automated tests passing and 95.1% code coverage at its last validation (2026-11-05).

## Capabilities

- **Finds the right job.** From what the technician calls it: the customer, the suburb or the kind of job, among their own open jobs.
- **Parts from their van.** Named parts are matched to the stock on the technician's own van.
- **A report in their words.** Work performed, findings and recommendations, written only from what they said.
- **Changes in plain words.** Add a line or correct a quantity, and the draft is replaced.
- **Approve once.** Review Wrap-up shows exactly what will be saved, then applies it once.
- **Four places updated.** Job notes, parts consumed, a service report PDF and the customer email.

## How it is governed

- **Nothing saved without approval.** Every wrap-up is a draft until the technician approves the exact text on Review Wrap-up.
- **Their access, nothing more.** It runs as the signed-in technician: their own jobs, their own van, no prices or costs.
- **Only what they said.** Completion wording only when the technician stated the outcome; customer text never carries prices, part codes or phone numbers.
- **Safety goes first.** A reported hazard becomes an urgent follow-up for Dispatch at once, and a "never mind" in chat never cancels it.
- **The status is yours.** The agent never changes the job status.

## How it is tested

- Technician conversations, replayed before every release: a straight note, "Fixed it.", a correction, prices in the email, two parts in one message, an ambiguous job, a hazard and a retraction, and out-of-scope requests.
- Automated tests on every action.
- A live wrap-up in the Field Service app before anything ships.

## Good to know

- One part line per wrap-up today. Several different parts mean separate wrap-ups.
- Photos aren't connected yet.
- Invoicing and payment stay with your office.
- It works in the Field Service app on Android and iOS; the review step is a quick action on the job.

## What we need from you

- **Field Service:** Technicians, vans and van stock.
- **The Field Service app:** For your technicians, and Agentforce.
- **Your report and email wording:** Headings, branding and the sender.
- **A Dispatch queue:** Where safety follow-ups go.

Industries: Plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling; Appliance and equipment repair; Property and facilities maintenance; Utilities and field operations

Runs on: Agentforce · Salesforce Field Service · the Field Service mobile app

## FAQ

### Does it work in the Salesforce Field Service mobile app?

Yes. Technicians open Agentforce from the job's Actions and pick the Job Wrap-up Agent. Review Wrap-up is a quick action on the same job.

### Does anything save before the technician approves?

No. Everything stays a draft until they approve the exact draft. Then it is applied once.

### Can the agent make up work that wasn't done?

No. It writes only what the technician said, asks when the note is too thin, and allows "fixed" or "complete" in the email only when the technician said so.

### How are parts and van stock handled?

Named parts are matched to the technician's own van. On approval they are recorded as used and the stock goes down.

### What goes in the customer email?

A plain summary from the technician's words. Prices, part codes, phone numbers and addresses are blocked.

### What if there's a hazard on site?

Dispatch gets an urgent safety follow-up straight away, and the wrap-up is marked not signed off.

### Does it change the job status?

No. Status stays with your team and your process.

### How long does setup take?

It depends on your Field Service setup and your wrap-up rules. We scope it with you on a call.
